It’s the most Swifterful time of year: please save the date and plan to join us for our 5th Annual Ugly Sweater Run/Walk! We’ll be traveling through a winter wonderland of Swifter exec board members’ homes and finishing up at Sketchbook with our annual ugly sweater contest and Mama’s trivia. We’re asking for a $5 donation per person to help with the costs of beverages and other merriment at the Swifter homes. Exact addresses will be provided closer to the event. We can’t wait to see you dressed in your ugliest festive swag!

Each year, one of favorite Swiftiversary traditions is the Swiftiest Swifter Award. This award is NOT about who is the fastest runner, who has the most Strava segment local legends, who got the most PRs etc, although those are all worthwhile goals as well. THIS award IS about who has the strongest Swifter spirit, which includes being welcoming, encouraging, and enthusiastic to all Swifters everywhere. This award is given to someone who demonstrates our core Swifter principles and our mission statement.

Our New Saturday Home: Soul Good Coffee
The Swifters are thrilled to announce a new base for our Saturday Scampers: the brand new and amazing Soul Good Coffee cafe! We are incredibly excited for their new endeavor and are happy to be continued supporters of this coffee community. Starting Saturday, October 4, you can find us every Saturday at 8:00am at 4022 Main Street in Skokie. We can’t wait to make this our weekend morning home!
