sabrina ehmke

Sabrina is a Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) certified running coach. Her past coaching experiences include high school cross-country athletes, Girls on the Run programs for elementary school aged children, first time marathoners, long time runners, and providing adult running/walking training programs for the Skokie Park District. She is a Six Star World Marathon Majors finisher, a 10-time full marathon finisher, and has completed countless other race distances. She believes that running can change a life for the better, not just through the physical act of running, but also through the community, friendships, and fun that it provides. She hopes to share the inspiring running community with her athletes - reach out to her today!


John McCarthy

John is a USATF-certified running coach who has coached both men's and women's cross country and distance track teams at the collegiate level. During his college years, John was awarded NAIA Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was recognized as a two-time NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete. He also served as the team captain of the Benedictine University (Springfield) cross country team.

John continues to race competitively and is passionate about helping runners enhance their performance. Whether you aim to achieve a personal record at a specific distance or strive to win Age Group awards—if faster is what you're after—then John will help you. His coaching approach is holistic, encompassing dietary choices, strength-building routines, form recommendations, as well as standard mileage and pacing workouts. His motto: running showcases the full potential of your mind and body to the world.
