In 2020, Sabrina decided to run the entirety of the North Branch Trail (~20 miles) on New Year's Eve as a way to say SO LONG to the ridiculous year that was, and friends came along to support. She did it again the next year, and even more people came out; thus, a tradition was born--the End of the Dumpster Fire Year/So Long 20-ish Miler!
This became our way of saying so long to a string of really bizarro years. With many folks hopping on the trail for a few miles along the way, and others coming to cheer and spectate, this supported-solo-run grew into a true community event.
And to continue making this event accessible to more people, after a 5 year run, 2025 brings a new chapter as we introduce the End-of-Year F2F (Four-Two-Felix) Relay!
