Track Tuesday is back for the season! We are on every Tuesday morning at 6:00am at Old Orchard Junior High until the weather says no more (that usually means we shut it down sometime in October.)
Bring your own workout plan (suggestions provided if needed), water bottle, towel, and whatever else you need to be comfortable. Note there are no drinking fountains or bathrooms available to us. If there is interest, we’ll head to Kneads and Wants post workout for a quick coffee. Hope to see you then!
Join your hosts Marie and Sabrina for a special Saturday Scamper Field Trip to Palos Park to tackle the infamous Swallow Cliff Stairs! We’ll carpool from Skokie around 6:30am to arrive at the stairs around 7:15. We will park and meet at the Swallow Cliff Woods - North parking lot. From there, miles and miles of trails (hard packed dirt and gravel) await you, including a climb (or two!) up the infamous Swallow Cliff staircase. Please bring a snack or drink to share for a post run potluck, and we’ll also stop at local coffee shop Strange Brew for a coffee for the ride home. We should be back to Skokie around 11:00am. Check out the their website for more info about the area. Hope you can join us!
A new-to-us as a team race, the Elmhurst 4 on the 4th is a long standing 4th of July tradition! Come join us for a special early Saturday Scamper and get back to Skokie in time for all of your 4th festivities; register for the race or just come to cheer your fellow Swifters!
Join us at the Niles Township Garden for a special Saturday Scamper followed by free yoga sponsored by Niles Township. Of course you're welcome to just meet up for the yoga if you'd like, too. Coffee will be at 10am at Kneads and Wants.
Katey is excited to be kicking off Skokie Swifters Spirit Week with a special one-time Moxie Boxing fitness class:
