Skokie Swifters is a running and walking club for everyone from beginners to experienced distance runners. Whether you want to get moving outside, are looking to make some new friends, or need a little motivation while you train for an upcoming race, you'll find a welcome community in the Swifters. Special Saturday Scamper: The Felix 1000

September 26, 8am

The countdown is on! Save the date for a very special and epic Saturday Scamper for our very own Felix Estrada: we’ll be celebrating Day 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ of his at least one mile a day run streak! It’ll be a special morning with a group run and other fun along the way. For now, Soul Good will be our starting point but we will update that as the time gets closer. Hope you can save the date for this very special morning with Felix!

Grand OPening: Lincoln Ave. Crossing

September 29, 6pm

SWIFTEMBER just keeps getting better! On Tuesday, September 29 at 6:00pm, we have been invited to the “grand opening” of the new crosswalk at Lincoln Ave. and the Skokie Valley Path! Please come dressed in Swifter swag and be ready to run/walk! After a brief ceremony and some photos, you can continue on your run/walk as usual, and we’ll meet back at Sketchbook for our regular Tuesday evening hang. Hope you can join us!

Friday Night Lights: eths vs New Trier

Scamper Field Trip: Linne Woods

This Scamper will be at Linne Woods in Morton Grove. We'll meet at the lot right off of Dempster at 8am. Afterwards, we'll meet for coffee at Cafe 44 around 9am. Should be a beautiful fall morning!

Our annual season-ender. With a kids Drumstick Dash, 5k run or walk and 10k options, bring the whole family to put a cap on another Swifty running season!
